My Number One KETO Trick

I am told, often, that a person’s number one hardship with eating a Ketogenic Diet is NOT KNOWING WHAT TO COOK. One tip I like to give is, the moment something pops in my head I keep a Meal Plan running list on my phone. Everything and Anything that sounds pleasant to me gets put on that list. Then when I am mapping out my week, I pull the list up on my phone, and I have a long list of potential meals to choose from.

This list helps, because if you’re like me you can better plan based off the foods in your freezer, fridge, or cupboards. I can pick and choose, and still have flexibility! If something doesn’t sound quite right, it stays on the master list on the phone, and things that sound good go into my weekly plan. If I suddenly find something on sale, I can swap!

However, I find having a plan is so much easier to stick to once it’s mapped out and for me writing it down makes me more successful! This trick helped me tremendously, well, was paramount to my success while working, even! I would go to work for 38 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Planning my food, packing it, and sticking to my plans made healthy Keto possible!

Above is my mapped out plans for this week, Sunday, January 10, 2021 to Saturday, January 16, 2021.

That is my #1 Trick. If something tasty sounds good, write it down, and then put it in your weekly planner when meal planning. It’s a lot harder to ignore your plans if they are not written down (electronically, or on paper).
